If you’re interested in becoming a pet carer on Floofy, you can sign up and fill out the necessary details at your own pace. You can also complete the steps in any order.

Getting Started

  1. Go to Floofy.com, select Become a carer, and then scroll down the page to click Get started.
  2. Complete the following sections:
    • Service Setup: Set your rates, availability, and pet preferences. If you’re offering multiple services, you’ll only need to fill in details for one service initially.
    • Create Your Profile: Introduce yourself to pet owners by writing a few words about your experience, adding fun photos of you with pets, and completing your contact details.
    • Request Testimonials: Reach out to people who can speak positively about your experience as a pet carer. Testimonials help build trust with pet owners.
    • Pass a Safety Quiz: Floofy requires all pet carers to complete a safety quiz.
    • Complete ID Verification: Give pet owners peace of mind by verifying your ID.
  3. Once you’ve finished each section, a checkmark will appear to track your progress. When everything is complete, click Submit to let our team know your profile is ready for review.

If you change your mind, simply click I no longer want to provide Floofy services at the bottom of the page.

What Happens Next?

  • Keep an eye on your email—our team may suggest changes to improve your profile.
  • You’ll usually hear from us within five working days via email, letting you know if your profile is approved.
  • Once your profile is approved and your identity is verified, your services will be listed in the Floofy marketplace, and pet owners will be able to contact you.

Note: Pet carers and dog walkers on Floofy must be at least 18 years old and are considered independent contractors. This means you’ll run your own small business, set your own rates and schedule, and will not be a Floofy employee. Keep this in mind for tax purposes.
