You can change details of an upcoming booking in the Upcoming Stays section of your Floofy Messages. This feature allows you to:
- Add, remove, or change service dates
- Modify the pets involved
You can make these changes from your computer or mobile browser. Follow the instructions below based on your device.
On the Web
- Go to your Inbox by clicking the conversation icon.
- Click on the Upcoming Stays tab and select the booking you want to change.
- When the request opens, find the service details and click Modify booking.
- Here, you can change any of the following:
- Dates
- Number of visits per day
- Pets
- Review your changes and write a brief message to the owner explaining the updates. When you’re done, click Submit changes.
After submitting, the pet owner has up to 24 hours to confirm the modifications. You will receive a confirmation email once the changes are accepted.
On the Mobile Web
- Tap Inbox at the bottom of your screen, then select Upcoming.
- Find the request you need to change.
- Tap the three-dotted icon in the upper right corner.
- Tap Modify booking, then select Modify details.
- Update the booking and write a brief message to the owner explaining the changes. Tap Submit changes.
The pet owner will get the modified request and has 24 hours to confirm the changes. Once confirmed, both you and the pet owner will receive a confirmation email.
Additional Information
- Pet owners cannot modify confirmed bookings themselves. They need to contact their carer for any changes.
- Pet owners must approve the booking modification within 24 hours. If they do not accept the changes, the booking will stay active but unchanged.
- Cancellation policies do not apply to date modifications unless the owner shortens or cancels the stay completely.
- Payments for a service may be delayed if the booking was modified near the end of the stay and the owner confirms the changes after the stay ends. In this case, your payment will be released two days after the owner’s confirmation.
