Floofy partners with Stripe, a trusted payment provider, to handle all payments securely. Stripe is certified to the highest standards in the payments industry.

We release funds to your Floofy account 2 days after a booking ends. Stripe will then transfer the payment to your bank within 3-5 working days. You can expect your payment to arrive between 3-7 working days after the booking is completed.

How to Set Up Your Stripe Account

On a Mobile browser

  1. Tap More at the bottom of your screen.
  2. Tap Payments.
  3. Tap Manage Payout Methods.
  4. Select Connect to Stripe. It may take a few seconds to create your account.
  5. Tap Update Payment Details.
  6. Review and edit your personal details (if needed), ensuring the name matches your legal name to avoid issues.
  7. When finished, tap Submit to return to Floofy.
  8. Go back to the Payments section and select Add a Bank Account.
  9. Enter your bank information and tap Submit.

On Your Computer

  1. Go to the Payments section of your account and select Connect to Stripe.
  2. Click Update Payment Details.
  3. Review and edit your personal details (if needed), ensuring the name matches your legal name.
  4. Click Submit to return to Floofy.
  5. Go to the Receive Payments page and select Add a Bank Account.
  6. Enter your bank information and click Submit.

Do I need to download the Stripe app?

No, you can set up and manage your payments directly through your Floofy account.

Can I receive payments via PayPal, cheque, or cash?

No, payments are only processed through Stripe as bank transfers.

Does my bank account need to be from the country where I offer care?

Yes, your bank account must be from the same country where you provide pet care services.

What information is required?

You’ll need to provide your bank account number. Your account details (name, email, phone number, address, date of birth) will already be pre-filled from your Floofy account. Make sure these details, like your legal name, match your official documents. In some cases, Stripe may ask for ID or proof of address.

What if I need to update my bank details but have pending payments?

If payments haven’t been sent yet, Stripe will automatically resend them 2 days after you update your bank information. You can expect the funds within 5-7 business days.

Not receiving payments?

Visit the Receive Payments page and check if your bank details are correct. Update your account if needed. All future payments will go to your most recently added account. If you’re still having issues, feel free to contact Floofy support.

When will I receive payment for a cancelled booking with a penalty?

You’ll receive the payment for the cancellation penalty 2 days after the booking’s scheduled end date, just like for a regular booking.
