Every carer profile is carefully reviewed by the Floofy team to ensure it meets our quality standards. If we believe the carer is a great fit, we’ll approve their profile, allowing them to list their pet care services on the site.
Why might my profile not be approved?
We focus on one main question: “Will pet owners have a great experience with this carer?”
Here are some common reasons a profile might not be approved:
- We look for carers who are professional and caring. If a profile doesn’t reflect those qualities, it may not be approved.
- For carers offering in-home services, the profile may not show that they can provide the personal experience our pet owners want. Floofy aims to offer one-on-one attention as an alternative to kennels.
- The profile information might not demonstrate that the carer can safely manage the number of pets they plan to accept. This includes both the profile description and photos.
- If the carer already has many pets at home, it might not be safe to bring in additional pets.
Can I appeal the decision?
No. We take our approval process seriously and strive to be thorough from the start. As such, the decision is final and cannot be appealed.
Can I still book care for my pet?
Yes! You can still book stays or walks for your pets through Floofy. Even though you can’t access your carer profile, you can still use your account, including your payment details.
Can I get my profile content back?
Once a carer profile is deactivated, you won’t be able to access any photos or information you added. However, Floofy securely stores all your data, and it will never be shared with other companies or third parties.
What happens to my personal information?
Your personal details are stored securely in our database and are not shared with any third parties.
