It’s important that all payments and communication happen through Floofy. This keeps everyone safe and secure and is part of our Terms of Service.

If a payment happens outside Floofy, we won’t have a record of it, so the booking won’t be covered by the Floofy Guarantee or our support team. Taking payments outside of Floofy could also result in your account being suspended, as well as the pet owner’s.

If someone offers to pay you directly (in cash, bank transfer, or anything else), politely say no and remind them that paying through Floofy keeps everything secure.

What if a pet owner insists on paying outside Floofy?

If a pet owner keeps asking to pay you directly, you can report the conversation. Just select the “Report User” option in your message thread.

While this doesn’t happen often, it’s always good to be prepared. Staying safe helps keep your pet care services running smoothly.
