We recommend only accepting bookings you’re sure you can accommodate to avoid cancellations and keep your pet care services thriving. However, if you do need to cancel, Floofy provides the tools to make it easy.

Note: Frequent last-minute cancellations can affect your visibility in search results.

How to Cancel a Booking Before It Begins

  1. First, inform the pet owner that you need to cancel.
  2. Go to your Messages by clicking on the Profile icon in the top right of the screen, and then selecting Messages from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select the Upcoming Bookings tab and choose the booking you want to cancel.
  4. In the Details box, click Cancel booking.
  5. Choose a cancellation reason and explain why you’re cancelling. This message goes directly to Floofy Support, not to the pet owner.
  6. Click Cancel booking to complete the process.

Important: Cancelling bookings at short notice regularly could result in an account review.
