Sometimes, a carer might have to cancel last minute. If that happens, we’ll help you find a new carer as quickly as possible.

Here’s what happens if a carer cancels:

  • If your carer cancels within 7 days of the service start date, you’ll get a full refund and a £20 credit to help with the cost of a new service.
  • If they cancel an overnight stay within 24 hours of the booking start, you’ll receive a £50 credit to help cover the new service.
  • If the booking falls on a recognised holiday, and the carer cancels within 14 days of the start date, you’ll get a full refund and a £20 credit for a new booking.

Important: If the carer cancels due to a lack of information or aggressive pet behaviour, you’ll need to cover the full cost of a new booking.
